A ROMAN 'PUGIO' DAGGER a Pugio was a side arm taken into battle alongside the Gladius, but was also a personal protection dagger for civilians, 37cm long; the bronze has heavily oxidised giving the sword an overall green colour; the handle shows remnants of the wooden grip
