We note Jan. 1944 stampless O.A.S. env to Johannesburg with square RAF 369 censor mark & A.P.O. 53 mark, another O.A.S. env. with RAF 369 censor mark, A.P.O. 53 mark but with K.U.T. franking, 1943 stampless O.A.S. env. to Kenya with A.P.O. 59 cancel and magenta 'bridge-type' "PASSED BY MILITARY CENSOR/E.A./No. I/237", , 1944 Air letter ex 'RAF Madagascar' to England franked KUT 20c & 5c and having lozenge-shaped violet "RAF/CENSOR/137" mark, Nov. 1942 Air Mail letter card to England with KUT 25c meter mark, A.P.O. 53 cancel & violet 'bridge-type' "PASSED BY MILITARY CENSOR/E.A./No. I/166", etc. Lot also inc. A5 size U.S. Govt propaganda sheet addressed "Au Peuple Francais" and air-dropped by the RAF explaining the reasons for the Allied occupation of Madagascar to prevent its use by the Japanese Navy.
