A nameplate QUEEN MARY from the GWR 4000 Star Class 4-6-0 No 4031 built at Swindon in October 1910 and named after the wife of King George V who had acceded to the throne earlier that year. It survived into BR days at Stafford Road from where it was withdrawn on 11 June 1951 and cut up at Swindon Works. The right-hand side plate, accompanied by a contemporary framed print by Alf Cooke of Leeds showing the loco and its principal dimensions, etc. (Postage Band: N/A)
