George III silver pair cased verge pocket watch, repousse outer cover with figures dancing, the inner cover hallmarked London 1775, the movement signed 'Markham London' and numbered 25519, square pillars, 47mm diameter; also a George III pair cased verge pocket watch, green shagreen outer case and gilded metal inner case, the dial with Arabic numerals, verge movement with square pillars, signed 'Isac (sic) Alexander, Nottingham' and numbered 697, 48mm dial (2)

More Information

1st watch: Ticks when wound. Damaged enamelled dial. Hour hand detached but present.
2nd watch: Currently working. There are losses and wear to the shagreen on the outer case. The dial has some fine hair cracks, some wear to the gilt on the metal case.
Both watches are sold as seen with all faults.
