Charles Thomas Eustace (British, 1876-1957) - An early 20th century Hayle hand embossed copper tray. The tray decorated with embossed depiction of possibly St Michael's Mount. The tray of rectangular form with raised curved edges. Unsigned. The design is believed to have been originated by him and unique to his copper work.
A picture of a very similar, if not identical, tray is visible in the exhibition catalogue “Never Sit Idle - Charles Eustace and his brother John – neglected Cornish Copper craftsmen”. Exhibition held at the Tony Sanders Gallery in Chapel Street, Penzance, Cornwall.
