KGVI/QEII FORCES MAIL: A selection of covers sent to or from Army Post Offices or FPOs. Majority QEII 1950s-70s (some later), but a good selection of KGVI 1940s covers inc. 1946 Official env. marked "PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION/BALLOT PAPER." with address written on "Army Form B.2645" tied by purple "ARMY/POST OFFICE" circular cachet, returned to sender with boxed purple "NOT AT ADDRESS STATED./PRESENT ADDRESS NOT KNOWN/RETURN TO SENDER" hs. Other RTS marks also present, mainly from 1970s; plus a very small qty of Censor marks. Majority are internal mail but some other destinations inc.
