CAST IRON FOUNTAIN, circa 1870, the lobed circular bowl cast with six flower heads open for water on tapering fluted column, the rising circular base cast with scallop shells approx 120cm high x 130cm in diameter. Believed to have been created at the French Cast Iron Foundry Du Val-D'Osne part of the Societe Anonyme des Hauts-Fourneaux & Fonderie (see attached picture/ Literature)
