City of London (Rough Riders) Imperial Yeomanry post 1905 Lance cap. Good scarce example. Patent leather body, peak and crown with ornate gilt metal fleur bosses to each corner. The upper section is of blue cloth. Triangular fluted regimental lance plate to front bearing City Arms, unit title and Battle Honour SOUTH AFRICA 1900-02. Lions head bosses support brass chin chain with leather backing. Woollen boss with plain button supports a purple horsehair plume mounted in a brass plume holder.
