1815 Waterloo Medal to John Sands 2nd Batt 3rd Reg Guards, replacement clip and straight bar suspender, contact marks, nearly very fine. With copied research including Pension entry where he is listed as wounded in the right leg at Chateau Hougoumont, Waterloo. He was born in Nottingham 1792, discharged 1820, admitted Chelsea Pensioner 11/11/51, died of typhoid 13/9/71 aged 79. Ex DNW 28/3/2002. (See photo) (R)
