French & London backstamps plus superbly struck "LIVERPOOL/SHIP" in green ink. Also, trio of 1855/6 ELs to/from Mauritius/France, two of which having the first recorded use of Type C (red, fair) & D (black, fine) "PACKET LETTER/MAURITIUS" ds's (Proud SL6 & 7, p.267; ERD 21/3/1856).
