Former Bristol Zoo Gardens - an early 20th century c1930s / 1940s concrete and tile enclosure sign, originally from the Wading Birds Enclosure which could be found next to the East Lawn. Features different painted tiles for each species of bird found, with tiles beneath detailing their name, Latin name and geographical information. Tiles mounted in concrete, decorated with a raised edge. Unique part of Bristol Zoo history. Measures approx: 41cm x 124cm x 5cm
