Thirty seven mixed commemorative first day covers of Colditz Oflag IVc, thirty four of which are signed by various prisoners of war during WW2 including Major-General Corran William Brooke Purdon CBE MC CPM (Commando at St Nazaire/Colditz POW), Lieutenant Kenneth Dobson, Alfred Heinrich and Peter Hofmann (German Guards, Robert Muckel, Flight Lieutenant Walter Morrison, Captain Micky Burn (St Nazaire Raid), Captain Kenneth Lockwood (first escape attempt of WW2 along with Pat Reid), Captain Tommy Catlow, Major Peter Parker and Brigadier Edward Grisomond Beaumont 'Gris' Davies Scourfield to name a few.
