with curved polished blade, commemorating the Battle of the Nile, possibly for a member of the Egyptian Club of officers, gilt-brass hilt comprising outer-guard pierced and chiselled with a crocodile, a pair of recurved quillons, faceted back-strap rising to form a maned lion head pommel, banded ivory grip with knuckle-chain in leather scabbard with brass mounts comprising locket and middle band and chape --16½ in.
