Obverse: first laureate and draped bust of William, facing right by John Roettier with a legend around that reads 'GVLLELMVS · III · DEI · GRA ·' and a 'C' below for Chester. Reverse: crowned cruciform shields of royal arms with the lion of the House of Orange-Nassau in a central cartouche, 'MAG · BR · FRA · ET · HIB · REX · 1697' around. Edge: milled. Weight: 6.17g. Diameter: 24.9mm. Grade: aF - approaching Fine, darker tone around the legends.
