Kyle redirected back to UK as he was attending the atomic bomb test on Bikini Atoll with violet "R.A.F./POST ROOM/BRACKNELL/BERKS" hs on front and Washington & RAF receiving ds's on back; 1953 air mail env. franked pair 9d addressed to "U.K. Staff, Box 1391-K" ('The Black Vault') in South Australia to an individual working on weapons development at Woomera; 1956/7 air mail envs. (2) franked QEII 2½d or 3d tied by FPO cds's ex Gilbert & Ellice Islands or South Australia (Air Task Group 'Antler') both associated with atomic weapon trials; plus others ex Malaya, Hong Kong, Germany, France, Cyprus, various ships in UK or abroad (some with 'Return to Sender' hs's), or to service men in China or Hong Kong.
