A 19th Century 1821 pattern Lanarkshire 1st Artillery Volunteers sword. Stepped pommel with ball finial, ray skin grip with wire banding and a x3 bar hilt with forward facing quillon. The ricasso marked for makers Edward Lyons Army Contractors and the blade finely etched with scroll detail and unit coat of arms. Measures approx 97cm.
