A French late-Victorian decorative Anglaise carriage clock the eight-day duration movement having a platform lever escapement and striking the hours and half-hours on a gong with a repeat of the last hour on demand, the white enamel dial having black Roman numerals and blued-steel spade hands and marked Made in France, the Anglaise case with decorative cast floral decoration to the pillars and handle with a moulded base to top and bottom, height 19.5cm/17cm, handle up/down.
