A 19th century walnut and ebony travelling box, studded brass mounted, with fitted interior, with brass handles and key, W39cm
Nice overall, original condition. Carry handles present. All brass studwork and strap handles present, 1 stud to lid replaced. Some age related splits to it, particularly to top edge. Lock and key slightly loose, will need some attention for lid to shut properly. Some surface chips to edges. All inner lids present, but a couple are damaged and some bone decoration split and missing, several knobs also. See extra images. Collected from the Armoury in Winchelsea.
