1804 King George III gold Half Guinea with seventh type laureate head graded MS 62 by NGC (S 3737). Obverse: laureate effigy of George III with short hair, 'GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA' around. Reverse: shield of royal arms - the arms of Hanover inestucheon - with a crown above, surrounded by a garter motif. The date appears below, divided by the tail of the garter. The garter reads 'HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE' and the legend around reads 'BRITANNIARUM REX FIDEI DEFENSOR'. Comes in NGC holder (#6864409-005). Composition: 9167 gold. Weight: 4.17g. Diameter: 20.8mm.
