The Ferrari F355 was built from May 1994 to 1999. It is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive, V8-powered two-seat Coupe, Targa, or Convertible. Design emphasis for the F355 was placed on significantly improved performance, as well as flexibility across a wider range of speeds and in different environments. The displacement was 3.5 L, with a 5-valve cylinder head, which produced 375 BHP.
The frame is a steel monocoque with tubular steel rear sub-frame with front and rear suspensions using independent, unequal-length wishbones, coil springs over gas-filled telescopic shock absorbers with electronic control servos and anti-roll bars. Aerodynamic designs for the car included over 1,300 hours of wind tunnel analysis. The car incorporates a Nolder profile on the upper portion of the tail, and a fairing on the under body that generates down force when the car is at speed. The car's standard seats are upholstered with hides from Connolly Leather, and are fitted asymmetrically in the car; this results in the driver being slightly closer to the car's centre line than the passenger.
This is a UK supplied RHD manual car with 7 previous owners , previous owner for 8 years. The car comes with the Original Leather Wallet, Manuals and Service Book, which is stamped, and all old MOTs are present. Plenty of supporting invoices including £3500 Service bill 400 miles ago (June 2015) at Foskers, the oldest independent Ferrari Specialist. This was the "major engine out cam belt service ". Various niggles sorted out as well. New rocker cover gaskets, water pump. The car comes equiped with 4 Pirelli P Zero tyres with only 400 Miles covered Everything working correctly, drives smoothly through all gears. New clutch at 31,000 miles with an Invoice. The car was "Cat D" registered in 1999 (damaged on rear n/s quarter) before being reclassified as "Condition inspected" by "Autolign" the only independent vehicle inspection company in 2000. This now correctly showing on the register, and all paperwork is available for inspection.
