London History - Charity and Education - a George/William IV pewter plate, inscribed St Ann’s Society Schools, 23.5cm diam, c.1830
The School was built on Brixton Hill in 1826, the charitable organisation having been founded in 1709. It later moved to premises at Redhill, Surrey.
A little warped around rim but no obvious damage or repair, other than surface wear. Please see photographs.
