An Anson Battalion WWI Memorial Plaque to THE HON. KENNETH ROBERT DUNDAS and Buckingham Palace
cover note, mounted together in a glazed gilt frame (43.5cm x 22cm). Together with the plaque's associated commemorative scroll and cover note (also gilt-framed and glazed) and with his widow's handwritten ink annotation pasted to the glass: 'Kenneth fell at Suvla Bay, Gallipoli, on the morning of Aug. 7th 1915. This scroll was received on Oct. 22nd 1920. Claudia') (2)
Lieut. Kenneth Robert Dundas R.N.V.R. (1882-1915) was the fourth son of the Charles Viscount Melville and a pre-war District Commissioner in British East Africa.
