An officer's Bell topped shako, 1829-44, of The 11th (N Devon) Regt, black felt body (replaced) with PL top, peak and upright "V" on each side, silver plated round link chinscales, with ear roundels bearing the Royal Crest, white feather plume, 8" (socket missing), gilt crowned star shako plate on which a laurel wreath with scrolls and centre circle bearing 7 battle honours "Peninsula" to "Orthes", in its shaped japanned tin case with small padlock and key.
