1991 Toyota MR2 Manual Turbo with a very low mileage for its age at around 51,000 miles. The paperwork shows that the car was imported in 2003 at 67,000 Km, with the odometer now showing 81,000 Km. The car has recently had an oil change, new oil filter, new brake pads, new brake fluid, and an MoT less than 500 miles ago. Modifications include silicone hoses, a stainless steel exhaust, remote unlocking kit, an early 2000s immobiliser system, ABS disabled, Rev 3 lip, and K&N air filter.
The car is described by the vendor as a good example with almost no rust on the frame, none in the usual sill/arch places, and it appears to have never been welded. The interior is said to be in great condition, with no tears, marks on the dash, or broken switches. All the electrics are working, the seats show very little to no wear, although there is some minor wear and tear on the steering wheel. The engine feels solid, boosts fine, and pulls well with no overheating issues. The vendor has done trips from York to London, and the car hasn't missed a beat.
The known faults with the car are no A/C, a crack in the lip, and a couple of paint chips here and there, but it is a 30 year old car after all. The central locking doesn't work from the outside of driver side door, but works inside. This has been inspected and the micro switch inside the door lock has worn down and no longer touches the contact point. The vendor has installed the remote unlocking key to rectify this. The vendor has the Rev 1 lip which the buyer can have, as well as the foam insert for the bumper.
