An antique 19th century muzzle-loading percussion shotgun made by Thomas Cook of Shepton Mallet. c1850/60. 35" Damascus steel barrel with engraved maker's mark and address to top. The lock plate also engraved 'T. Cook' alongside foliate decoration. Profusely engraved trigger guard leading to a pineapple motif. Half-cocks, full-cocks and dry fires. Total length: 135cm. Ramrod present.
