Star Lot: An incredible early 20th century original oil on board painting featuring an Irish woman spinning wool at her wheel. After an image used as a postcard by Marcus Ward in the early 1900s. Wonderfully achieved in high detail with good clarity of line and form, along with a nice achievement of natural light. Unsigned and housed in a highly ornate period gilt moulded frame.
