A late Regency walnut work box of sarcophagus form, the lid lifts to reveal a fitted sewing tray with a mirror fitted to the underside of the lid, the two doors enclosing three graduated drawers all with mother of pearl handles, the lowest having a pull-out writing slope with felt top, pen tray, the middle drawer with lift out fitted jewellery tray and raised on four bun feet. 36cm high by 24cm by 33.5cm.
