A 20TH CENTURY TWIN HANDLED PAINTED METAL TRAY AND A HOODED CANDLE READING LAMP, the tray of shaped square form, gilt rope twist handles and rims, red painted ground with foliate scrolls to centre and rounded corners, width 40.5cm x depth 5.5cm, the plated reading lamp with maker's mark to weighted base: 'V (within a trefoil shape), 22, Regd trade mark', height 35.5cm (Condition report: generally ok, tray has a few areas of rusting, the gilt rim has a spot of broken solder on a top edge, the tray has circular water marks, the lamp has some wear to plating and a small dent on the candle holder, possible repairs below hood)
