A cased 5 shot 54 bore Beaumont Adams double action percussion revolver, barrel 5¾” engraved “Robert Adams, London”; with London proofs and “L.A.C” mark; the frame engraved “B. 15,384” over “Adams’ Patent No 31,048R”, cylinder numbered as the frame; with chequered walnut butt and plain steel butt cap. Good Working Order and Condition (partly lightly refinished and reblued); in its green baize lined fitted oak case with trade label of The Wilkinson Sword Company Limited, 27 Pall Mall, containing copper flask (verdigris, spring AF), Adams marked double cavity mould, nipple key, turnscrew, cleaning rod, and pewter oil bottle, (the case lid with initials scratched into the wood) Plate 20
