c.1880’s a mother of pearl fan, monture dyed in shades of purple, the black silk leaf overlaid with black lace, worked in a geometric design, fitted with a black silk tassel, diamanté stones to the rivet, guard length approx. 28cm
Varied colour to the guards, no evidence of breaks having been repaired, consistent with different shells being sliced to form the length.
