A diamond and untested sapphire set marquise shaped ring, probably Alabaster and Wilson early 20th century, the cluster designed as a central untested sapphire with a surround of old cut diamonds, to the reeded shoulders and plain hoop stamped '18', size M, weight 4.3gms
The carved gallery is slightly rubbed, as are the outer claws, the central setting does not sit level, the band is also slightly misshapen, central stone is showing abrasions and surface scratching, the piece shows light signs of wear throughout commensurate with age and usage.
