Louis Chalon (French,1866-1940); a large, French Art Nouveau/Deco cast, gilt and patinated and patinated bronze sculptural centrepiece entitled "Vers La Lumiere" (Towards the light)the mount fashioned as a nude maiden, right leg and left arm outstretched, seated upon a rocky outcrop with further emerging females, signed L Chalon. supported by a green marble pedestal base. 93 cm overall height Exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais Excellent condition overall, re-gilded, age related wear to rocky base, some small nicks to marble.
