A rare royal Tower Hamlets Militia Officer's Belltop shako plate circa 1835,
the central blue enamel ground populated with a strung bugle over the Tower Of London, within a scripted border, ‘Queen’s Own Light Infantry Militia’, beneath a crown with lion surmount, encircled within oak leaf borders.

Historic repair to enamel below the Tower of London.
Small injury to enamel top left of strung Bugle.
Otherwise generally sound, later boxed.
