Very rare and important Arabic manuscript, encompassing the third part of "Kitab Amâl al-a'lâm" by Muhammad b. Allah Lisân al-Dîn Ibn al-Hatib (d. 1375), which delves into the history of North Africa and Sicily, holds a remarkable historical signature. It is signed by Abd el-Kader in 1266H (equivalent to 1849) while he was in exile in France, specifically located at Amboise.

The manuscript consists of 54 pages with text written in 19 lines of black maghrib script. Additionally, the headings and catchwords are in red. The colophon is of significant interest as it is signed, dated, and specifies the location: Abdelkader al-Jaza'iri in the medinat of Anbawaze on the 17th day of Shawal, AH (Hijri calendar).

This document serves as a valuable historical artefact bearing the signature of Abd el-Kader during a pivotal period of his life.
