A pair of 18th century Chinese famille rose plates, Qianlong period (1736-95) Qing dynasty, painted in fencai polychrome enamels with a central montage within an iron red and gilt scroll octagonal frame draped with flowers, floral spray borders overlapping the yellow band around the rim, the reverse of each plate with three red lingzhi motif, 26 cm diameter (2)

The first plate with hairline extending towards the centre from the rim, approx 6 cm, with stapled repair, the second plate with large areas or old restoration and rim chips, both with wear to enamels
