WW1 RFC/RAF Pilot's Flying Log Book and Ephemera


consisting brown covered, pilot's flying log book with ink name "Sgt Pilot F A Hamlin".  Starting with 40 Training Squadron 30/9/1918 and ending 9/12/18 with one of his final comments "Landed beside Sgt Jardine but did not know it was him in the mass of tangled burning wreckage".  Together with his "Munitions Area Recruiting Office Bristol" Certificate of Protection ... RAF Training transfer card ... Honorary Commission letter dated "11/9/20 ... Certificate of Employment during the war ... RAF demobilisation account.  


Sergeant W B Jardine 220225, died 26/11/1918.  Buried at Wallington (Bandon Hill) cemetery, Surrey.
