the George III salt by William Kersill (probably), London 1766, circular open form, the sides chased with C-scrolls and foliage, raised on three hoof feet; the pair of George V salts by John Rose, Birmingham 1911, oval form, reeded sections to the lower half, with blue glass liners. (3) Georgian salt 6.4cm diameter, George V salts 5.8cm wide, 2.6 troy ounces gross (excl. glass liners)
George III salt marks lightly rubbed but later, pair clear and well struck. All stand upright, no rocking. Surface marks and scratches commensurate with age and use
