A pair of unusual mid-19th century carved walnut showframe armchairs, probably Irish - the moulded scroll backs, seats and arms professionally re-upholstered in tweed fabric, the arms carved scales and naive lion mask terminals, raised on fluted, turned front legs with pottery castors, 70.5 cm wide, 97 cm high.
