Militaria : Victorian British Army African campaign medals, comprising: a Queen's South Africa medal with bars for Belfast, Diamond Hill, Johannesburg, Orange Free State and Cape Colony (awarded to 4543 Pte. J. W. Smith, 2nd Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry), a Queen's Sudan Medal (awarded to 6179 Pte. Straham, Royal 1st Warwickshire Regiment), and an Egypt Medal with bar for Alexandria 11th July (awarded to Maintopman 'J. Cavanagh Cap: M. Top. HMS Penelope.) Together with an Army Good Conduct and Long Service Medal (awarded to 1224 Quartermaster Sergeant Jeremiah Hogan, 2nd Battalion 16th Foot) a Khedive's Sudan Medal with bar for Khartoum, a Danish naval service medal, a WWI Machine Gun Corps cloth badge and assorted brass regimental badges, shoulder flashes etc. (16)
