George V (1910-36), Proof Florin and Proof Shilling both 1927 modified bare head facing left, B.M in truncation for engraver Betram Mackennal, legend surrounds GEORGIVS V DG BRITT OMN REX FD IND IMP. Rev, cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, the Shilling with crowned Lion, denomination in legend (S.4038/39; Bull.3779/3830). The Florin mott led in its tone, shilling with uneven reverse tone. Both extremely fi ne, pleasing examples (2).
