Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, scattered fine but stable craquelure showing throughout, paint looks a little rubbed in areas showing the weave of the canvas particularly in the skin tones, also perhaps cut down from a larger size, housed in an adapted 19th century giltwood frame which has some wear and losses, typed label of attribution verso.
