£320
A pair of Chinese blue-and-white porcelain chargers: probably late 19th century, painted with two opposing long bodied, four-toed dragons amidst flowering plants, within a broad border of ruyi and prunus blossom, the underside with three sprays of bamboo. (30.3 cm in diameter)
(One with a small rim chip and hairline.)
* Condition: One with a small rim chip and 1.5in. hairline, and a small underglaze firing flaw to the rim. The other in good condition overall, but with a raised glaze flaw to the edge of the central design, which has been removed with an abrasive tool, leaving a matted patch to the glaze with surrounding glaze scratching. There are also some iron spots to the glaze around this area.
