- A rare and beautifully restored example of Laverda’s legendary Jota Series 2
- Meticulously rebuilt to Jota specification using all correct factory parts
Originally leaving the factory as a 3CL model destined for Belgium, the bike was converted to full Jota Series 2 specification by a Belgian specialist, using the correct high-performance components at considerable expense. While not a Slater-certified Jota, this machine embodies the full spirit and specification of the legendary model, having been professionally converted using correct factory components.
Nine years ago, it underwent a no-expense-spared restoration by Mike Russell de Clifford, former Laverda technical manager and proprietor of renowned specialist Motocorsa. His expertise ensured that every detail of this machine was restored to an astonishing standard, with a full engine overhaul, new pistons and liners, valve seats reworked, new buckets, cam blocks, bearings, sprockets, clutch plates, overhauled & improved brake calipers, and a modern Moto Witt ignition system installed. The suspension has been upgraded to fully adjustable Maxton setup, giving the Jota a sharp, composed feel that brings it closer to a modern sporting ride.
Presented in classic Jota orange, this stunning machine is in exceptional mechanical order, with only small cosmetic marks from light use evident. Now freshly serviced, and ready to ride. With a recorded mileage of just 16,596, this is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most iconic and collectible Laverdas, offering both exhilarating performance and historic significance.
