'A Full Account of the Dreadful Shipwreck of the Brig George,' A folio sheet, 340mm x 180mm, with a woodcut of the ship at head, F. Symons, Printer, Opposite the Market House, Redruth, 1822. Describing the shipwreck under 'Captain John M'Alpine [which] sailed from Quebec with a Cargo of Timber for Greenock..', and detailing some on-board cannibalism of the survivors. It closes with eight four-line stanzas of poetry repeating the same story. Scarce and in a near fine condition.
