Vrancke van der Stockt, son of Jan van der Stockt, was a master in the Brussels Guild of St. Luke and the official painter of Brussels after the death of Rogier van der Weyden. Van der Stockt was the 'direct heir and populizer' of Rogier van der Weyden and was thought to have collaborated with him.
