Pair of George III silver sugar nips, by Henry Plumpton, London circa 1780, weight approx. 43g
There appears to have been a repair at the base of one of the handles (see image). Elsewhere there is possible repair joining the same handle to the pivot. Also a fine hair crack can be seen beneath the monogram on the pivot.
The maker's mark and sterling mark are clear. No other marks.
