Former Bristol Zoo Gardens - the original large Hippopotamus climb-on sculpture from the playground at Bristol Zoo Gardens, situated alongside Zooropia. Installed c1990s, the Hippo is of fibreglass construction and was made for exterior use. A popular and memorable part of the playground for many visiting children over the last thirty years. Cosmetic wear from display and use, but generally remains in good structural condition. Can be carried by two persons. Measuring approx. 72cm tall x 148cm long x 66cm wide.
