A superb Chamberlain-decorated Caughley porcelain, circa 1790, gilt and cobalt, with monogrammed initials 'RCH' faintly shadowed in red, enclosed within a line and dot medallion flanked by finely detailed trailed foliage, the cobalt borders with lattice work and scrolling vines, bold painted S mark, 11.5cm high Provenance: Formerly Godden reference collection. Condition:Good condition with no cracks, chips, damages or repairs. Some rubbing to the gilding on both upper and lower rims and further minor wear to gilding on handle.
