Victorian rosewood secretaire chest c.1870 having cavetto raised top, two rows of six drawers, one double faced drawer opening to reveal secretaire, with arched central shelf, small drawers and writing slope, all with spirally turned split pilasters, on plinth base, 143cm wide overall
Surface scratches, scuffs and knocks to the wood. Areas of fading/discolouration. Repairs sections of the moulding and beading. Two lock possibly replaced, one drawer knob missing, splits to the sides, evidence of old worm to one side and the back. Section of wood missing on right side at base.
