It Came from a private vendor that has no provenance or history relating to this item. Blade has condition issues - slightly off centre medial ridge, tip is bent to one side, small imperfections to sharp edges, scratches and wear & pitting to blade. Rust and pitting to ricasso and wear to etched panels. recurved guard has rust and pitting. wear to plating to guard. grip has age and use related marks, wear and imperfections. base metal visible towards bottom of grip. denting to grip and pommel. blade is 17.4cm long. knife is 30.3cm long overall. Scabbard is 32.5cm long overall. scabbard possibly named Park to rear. metal tip of scabbard can wiggle side to side. creasing and wear to leather. scores, scratches and age related marks to leather body. the silent draw feature to scabbard looks to have been done at a later date as rough cut marks are visible. some denting and wear to metal tip. line of slight cracking to leather frog where it meets to scabbard body. wear to plating of button. button operated correctly. knife is a fairly good fit in scabbard.
